Biography
Owner, Co-founder and Chief Technical Officer of Transpire, Inc.Oregon State University gave Todd Wareing a strong passion for nuclear engineering. He went on to earn his doctorate in nuclear engineering and scientific computing from the University of Michigan, and then to the Transport Methods Group at Los Alamos National Laboratory where he became recognized as an international leader in radiation transport equations.
Los Alamos gave Wareing a three-year entrepreneurial leave to form the start-up Transpire, Inc., which has teamed with Varian Medical to develop new software for calculation of radiation doses in radiotherapy bringing a fast and precise calculation method to the radiation oncology field.
